Happy Birthday!

With today, I am beginning the week where everyone I know celebrates a birthday! Happy birthday today to my niece, Halen. I will miss her birthday party in the far-off land of Minnesota, so I will send my gifts from Mexico to appease the little goddess (she won't even know the difference). With this (hopefully last) snowfall, I'm saying goodbye to winter and hello to the birth of spring. I'm ready to step forward into spring, the perfect season for change. I'm not quite sure which new path awaits me, but it needs to be a different one. This weekend I plan to celebrate all the births I am thankful for and the spirit of rebirth.
