Waiting

I'm waiting to hear news from the OR. As far as I know, my mother was at the hospital at 8am this morning, probably hungry, and ready for surgery. Hopefully I'll hear something this afternoon. In the meantime, my waiting game for an opportunity seems to be looking bleak. Luckily, I'm more determined than ever to make a new opportunity for myself. It is a new week after all. My waiting game for my hedges to start growing is also losing steam. I don't think they will be coming back. They are guaranteed, so my plan will be to replant in the fall. After my afternoon of gardening for my mother yesterday, I now have a new lilac shrub. Who would have thought I would have a lilac? They are so smelly, but it was free. Hopefully it will grow damn it.
